First Lady Sabrina Tench is a gifted musician, devoted mentor, and dynamic leader whose influence resonates throughout Beaver County and the Greater Pittsburgh region. As a lifelong champion of worship arts, she serves as the Choir Director for her church and played a vital role in Tiger Pause Youth Ministries, where she uses music to inspire and empower young people.
First Lady Tench leads the Music Department, shaping a vibrant culture of praise, excellence, and spiritual growth. Her passion for choral music has opened doors for countless singers, and her dedication to musical ministry has made her a respected figure in the regional arts community.
A highlight of her career includes producing the 150th Geneva College Choir Celebration, a milestone event that showcased her exceptional organizational and artistic vision. In 2014 She was awarded the Women of Excellence from Geneva College. She has directed choirs from across Beaver County to Pittsburgh, uniting voices of all ages and backgrounds in powerful musical expression.
Sis. Sabrina Tench
Sis. Sabrina Tench has been the First Lady of the Second Baptist Church, Beaver Falls for 33
years. She is the Director of the SBC Gospel Choir and was the Director of the All God’s
Children youth choir. She’s the instructor for the Women’s Ministry Bible Study, and has
directed and assisted in many plays and performances in the church. She is currently active in
the Sunday School Dept and Christian Youth Education. Sis. Tench enjoys music and singing
and frequently ministers through song as a soloist, a member of the Praise Team, and the Gospel
Choir. She also loves children and worked with them at the Beaver Falls High School in the Life
Skills class until her recent retirement, and continues to work with children at the Tiger Pause
Christian Youth Organization after school program. During these difficult times in the economy,
Sis. Tench has been instrumental in feeding and clothing those in need with a food pantry outside
of the church for whosoever will, and by participating in Meals on Mondays where free meals
are provided to anyone in need or desires fellowship; and an annual back to school clothing
giveaway for children and adults. Sis. Tench leads the ladies of the church and community by
example. No matter her position, she gives of herself wholeheartedly, always striving to do her
best for the Lord. She has a love for Jesus Christ who is the head of her life, and she has no
qualms about sharing her testimony of the blessings of the Lord. She reminds us to remember
that in all things, we are to serve and represent Christ.
Sis. Tench is the wife of Pastor Bernard E. Tench, Jr and the parents of Errika (Mark), Enjoli
(Myron) and Bernard “BJ” III (Tonya) and she has nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
