Pastor
Pastor Bernard E. Tench Jr. has faithfully served as the shepherd of Second Baptist Church of Beaver Falls for more than 33 years, standing as a pillar of spiritual strength, biblical truth, and unwavering devotion to God. Known throughout the community as a Bible‑preaching, God‑fearing man of God, Pastor Tench has dedicated his life to lifting up the name of Jesus and guiding souls toward a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Born with a calling that became evident early in his life, Pastor Tench embraced ministry with humility, passion, and a heart for people. His preaching is rooted in Scripture, delivered with conviction, and marked by a genuine love for God’s Word. Over the decades, he has baptized generations, counseled families, comforted the grieving, and stood as a steady voice of hope in Beaver Falls and beyond.
At the center of his life and ministry is his beloved wife, Sabrina Tench, his partner in faith and service. Together, they have built a home grounded in love, prayer, and commitment to God’s purpose. Their family is a reflection of their devotion, blessed with three children: Erikka, Enjoli, and Bernard III, each carrying forward the values instilled in them by their parents.

His congregation knows him as a pastor who loves deeply, prays earnestly, and stands firmly on the promises of God. The ushers serve as doorkeepers, greeters, and guides to those entering or moving about the sanctuary. as the first to be seen, Ushers should be pleasant and helpful in assisting people as they enter and assuring comfort once seated by providing bulletins, fans, Bibles, hymnals. During offering, the usher direct parishioners, from their pews, assist in the collection process.
Trustees

First Lady Sabrina Tench
Second Baptist Church First Lady Sabrina Tench
First Lady Sabrina Tench is a gifted musician, devoted mentor, and dynamic leader whose influence resonates throughout Beaver County and the Greater Pittsburgh region. As a lifelong champion of worship arts, she serves as the Choir Director for her church and played a vital role in Tiger Pause Youth Ministries, where she uses music to inspire and empower young people.
First Lady Tench leads the Music Department, shaping a vibrant culture of praise, excellence, and spiritual growth. Her passion for choral music has opened doors for countless singers, and her dedication to musical ministry has made her a respected figure in the regional arts community.
A highlight of her career includes producing the 150th Geneva College Choir Celebration, a milestone event that showcased her exceptional organizational and artistic vision. In 2014 She was awarded the Women of Excellence from Geneva College. She has directed choirs from across Beaver County to Pittsburgh, uniting voices of all ages and backgrounds in powerful musical expression.
